Just creating a thread to take note of the online communities across Canada that came before. If i'm missing any please add. If you were active, what was your alias? I used to spend a lot of time bouncing around these forums. What did you like/dislike about them?

Fnk.ca - Vancouver and surround areas

    Liquidbeat.com - Okanagan + Kootneys

Shambhala Message board - Kootneys and Shambhala specific.

    Tribe.ca - Toronto

Torontojungle.com (still online) - The jungle community in Toronto

Tribal Harmonix - The more intentional/psychedelic community for Vancouver

Dogsonacid.com (still online) - Global DnB community

Rave.ca - I believe this was more of the Montreal / Ottawa scene.

I was never really on any forums back in the day, I think my social media life started with MySpace after things like ICQ and MSN Messenger.
I did however get more into old school forums when I got into obscure instruments and nerdy music stuff and frequent the lines forum from time to time

i spent a lot of time on nwdnb.bc.ca - van & surrounding area dnb forum.
also, yup, tribal harmonix and i would check in every now and then on fnk (not reeeeally my community there tho).

dubstep forum was big, later on. there also was ragga-jungle.ca (or some name like that?) that was rallied around the 1st wave ragga jungle resurgnace (krinjah, tester, soundmurderer, etc)

there was a short lived forum that i initiated soundsimple.ca that also had a database of all the local vancouver producers and live performers in leftfield electronic realms. ... it actually started to take root, then i accidently erased the entire forum (whoops!!!) and the momentum never came back (understandably, everyone didn't want to sign up again and there was lost trust too). i think there was like 80 or 90 users tho? this was, like, more than 20 years ago when the scene was super small and trackable.

Loungex.com - classic og raver message board for the Vancouver scene in the late 90s early 2000s. It too has recently be rebirthed

Had like 10,000+ posts on Torontojungle.com forum
                    It was the wild west.
Was using BBS systems (proto Internet "websites") since I was a kid - online forums were a natural progression.
