The City of Victoria is pleased to launch Victoria After Five, a new funding program supporting free and low-cost community-led evening experiences between November 2026 and February 2027.
Create more reasons to stay out 
Victoria After Five supports activities that bring people together and help make Victoriaβs downtown and neighbourhoods more active and connected. The program encourages people to stay longer, explore locally and enjoy the city in the evenings while supporting local businesses, arts, culture and community life.
We're looking for ideas that create memorable evening experiences, such as:
β’ Live music and performances
β’ Workshops and classes
β’ Community gatherings
β’ Cultural programming
β’ Markets and pop-up events
β’ Family-friendly activities
β’ Neighbourhood-based initiatives
Organizations, businesses, individuals and community groups are invited to apply.
