This year VIFF Labs is presented in collaboration with MUTEK and Chapel Sound. This two-day program explores VIFF Live’s theme of reworlding: remaking relations where sound, body, and system meet. Saturday’s Sound as Body looks at sound as an embodied force, from Honeydrip’s sound system practice to Kiran Bhumber’s spatial audio workshop. Sunday’s Interface as Skin turns to systems and connection, from MIIIA’s live hardware masterclass to a TouchDesigner workshop with Jonny Ostrem and TDYVR.

The events will take place on the second floor of the SFU Djavad Mowafaghian World Art Centre at 149 W Hastings St.

Some workshops have limited capacity so please sign up asap!
